Don’t Panic!

Survivability, a friendly guide to the end of the world (as we know it), is the long awaited creative non-fiction book by me, Rob Fleming, a local celebrity and sustainability leader based in Philadelphia. It’s a tragic comedy with a surprisingly positive ending that you won’t want to miss. But first we need to wrestle with some very uncomfortable truths like:

We will lose the battle against the climate emergency

The rash of extreme climate events we’ve experienced since Hurricane Katrina are previews to a reckoning that few people are willing to acknowledge. In a world where climate scientists resist telling the whole truth about what’s coming, many folks don’t realize we are well past the point of reversing or even slowing the rate of climate change, and we will soon find ourselves coping with a dystopian decline into a complete ecological breakdown
